MISSION

Kjersten has 25 years of experience in interior and architectural design for residential and commercial spaces. Her design areas of expertise include color consultation, kitchen and bath design, selection of fixtures, finishes and surfaces, space planning , drafting and rendering, custom door, fireplace, stair and millwork design. 

A Colorado native, Kjersten attended both Ohio State University and Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design, graduating summa cum laude with a BFA in Interior Design with an emphasis on Sustainable Design. 

Kjersten launched her career designing salons, spas  and homes on the Front Range and Evergreen.  After internships in Boulder and Aspen, she relocated to the  

mountains of Southwestern Colorado . She has served as a planning commissioner in Rico and as a consultant for the Telluride Green Building Task Force while practicing architectural and lighting design in Telluride area. 

She is grateful to have been a part of bringing many dreams to reality over the last fifteen years in and around Durango, through her previous design manager position at an award winning construction firm, and now independently.
